His lecture “Biases in Decision Making” was voted the best lecture of the 12th MCDA/M Summer School by the students in Recife, Brazil, July 2016.

 

Won the “Educator of the Year in the Middle East Technical University” award from the Parlar Foundation for the 2014-2015 academic year.

 

Received the Science Award from the Parlar Foundation in 2011.

 

Murat Köksalan’s PhD student Özgür Özpeynirci won the “Best MCDM doctoral dissertation” award given by the International Society on MCDM in 2011.

 

Won the “Educator of the Year in the Middle East Technical University” award from the Parlar Foundation for the 2008-2009 academic year.
