The transit was seen on 6th June 2012, Wednesday, between 05:25-07:45 A.M. in Ankara. Despite the clouds, we could see most of the transit from the sunrise to the end. A small but enthusiastic group could observe the very special event by a telescope, a well-adjusted DSLR camera and naked eye (all with proper solar filters, of course). Bilkent University Campus was darkened for the second time on 31th March 2012, Saturday, between 8:30-9:30 P.M.
