Infradynamics : Realization of Advanced Drugs for Targeted Non-Invasive Cancer Treatment
Have you had any family member or friend fight with cancer?
Then you would know how hard such a fight is.
The unselective nature of current treatments based on chemotherapy is the leading cause of this situation - and even this poor approach currently constitutes a 121 Billion dollar industry.
What if I tell you there is a selective, non-invasive, cheaper and faster technology for cancer treatment based on photo-therapy?
Sounds amazing? But if this is true you would have heard about it right?
The reason you never heard about is because the method is only applicable to skins cancers since the light that needs to activate the drug does not penetrate through the body.
We are in the business of developing advanced drugs that can be activated with infrared light which makes the photo therapy applicable to a wide variety of cancers.
We are InfraDynamics.
Infradynamics is currently a team of 2 cofounding professors and 2 chemists. Cofounders are UC Berkeley educated chemists and they currently hold academic positions at the leading public and private universities in Turkey. We have been working in the area of organic chemistry and cancer diagnosis/treatment area for the last 8 years and published in leading scientific journals in our respective fields. We have a number of drug candidates that are showing exciting in-vitro results and our comprehensive patent application is currently pending.
Photo-therapy for skin cancer was a 2 billion dollar market in 2016 and is forecasted to be 3 billion dollar within 6 years. We believe we have the potential to catalyze an exponential increase the market size of photo-therapy to reach unexpected higher limits. We are currently looking for investment towards further product development and preclinical studies.
