Abstract of GB2097196
|
A
millimeter wave array comprises a conducting ground plane (1), a flat
layer (2) of insulating material mounted on the ground plane, a linear
dielectric waveguide (3) mounted on the insulating layer (2), and a row
of spaced dielectric resonator type radiating elements (4) mounted on
the insulating layer parallel to but spaced from one side of the
waveguide (3) so that the elements are excited and caused to radiate by
energy propagated in the waveguide. A similar row of radiating elements
may be located on the opposite side of the waveguide. |
