M582 Numerical Analysis II

Content:
1. Solutions of non-linear equations. Root finding algorithms for polynomials. Bisection, fixed point, Newton's and secant methods.
2. Interpolation and approximation.
3. Numerical differentiations.
4. Numerical integrations.


Goals:
The objective of this course is to provide mathematical and computational aspects of interpolation, numerical differentiations/integrations.
