Yavuz Research Group (YRG) studies experimental and computational modeling of unsteady, three-dimensional, complex flow structures in the following three main areas:
1) Delta Wings
2) Arteries
3) Continuous Casting Machines
We aim to understand the complex flow structures first, and then to regulate them with passive and active flow control techniques. Our research is carried out in Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Department at METU.
