Yavuz Research Group (YRG) studies experimental and computational modeling of unsteady, three-dimensional flow structures on delta wings and multi-phase (liquid steel and argon gas) flow in continuous casting machines. We aim to understand the complex flow structures first, and then to regulate them with passive and active flow control techniques. Our research is carried out in Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Department at METU.
