Coordinator of an EU FP6 STREP on semiconductor nanocrystals, with project acronym SEMINANO, started in September 2004.

 

Coordinator of an EU FP6 SSA project aiming at increasing the research capacity of Turkey, The project will start in June 2005.

 

Management committee member of COST action 523 on nanostructured materials, represented Turkey in this action, completed in 2003
 
Partner of Nanoforum project (EU FP5), running project until 2006.
 
Coordinator of a Turkish-Bulgarian joint research project on laser processing of semiconductor surfaces, running project until 2006

 

Coordinator of many national research projects on semiconductor materials and devices including semiconductor nanostructures.

 

Research interests:

 

Semiconductor materials and devices in general. Production, characterization of semiconductor nanocrystals.
