The On page viii, the last sentence in the Preface has been deleted,
and the following footnote added in relation to the "staff members" in
line 6 of paragraph 2: * The Author is indebted to Dr. Engin Karaesmen
for help with the correct calculation of the coefficient of correlation
for regression forced through the origin.

On page 141, Fig. 5.26, the sections AC and A'C' together with the dashed
positions of the handles have been flattened by about 5 degrees, to avoid
ambiguity about the area correction applied during the test.
