Erdinc Cakiroglu is an associate professor of mathematics education in the Department of Elementary Education at Middle East Technical University.

His current work involve the use of technology in mathemtical problem solving, mathematics teachers' professional development, curriculum development in mathematics, and representations of mathematics concepts, self-regulation of learning to teach, teachers' use of curriculum materials, and learning numeracy in elementary levels.

His basic mission is to work for making school mathematics more meaningful for children.
