This laboratory houses an optical characterization system for photonic sensors including blackbody source/controller, FTIR system and lock-in and preamplifiers. The laboratory also houses an infrared focal plane (detector) array characterization set-up and thermal cameras with various formats under computer control. A wire-bonder and an optic microscope are among the facilities of this laboratory.
